18 more days...

Yay for only 18 more days until I leave for camp! No, I haven't started packing yet. Perhaps this weekend.

I leave early on June 10, so if you'd like to see me before then, call me!

My new camera came in! It isn't as great as the old one, but it's way better than I thought it would be for 40 dollars.

Tonight, I'll be scrapbooking with my mom and her friend. I guess that sounds boring, but I am going to work on a scrapbook of my camp pictures. Hopefully, I can have it finished so I can take it to camp and show everyone. Tomorrow, Dan and I are having some sort of adventure, potentially the Akron Art Muesuem.

I'd really like to go to the Cleveland Zoo before I leave. There is a dinosaur exhibit I'd really like to see. Anyone game for that?

I feel like I should have much more to write about, but I don't. I've been working and sleeping, mostly, so nothing worth updating about.

smile with your eyes

How does my family own two shedding pets and no lint roller?

It's only been summer for a week, and it's been fun.

Tuesday was Jen's birthday (Happy Birthday again Jen!) and her party was pretty fun, and included much crazy singing and paper throwing. Wednesday, we cleaned out the office, then Andrew, Jason and I went on a grand adventure to find the fourth season of Sabrina the Teenage Witch on DVD. Apparently, Sabrina fans are misinformed about which seasons are enjoyable, because no stores carry season 4, but they carry season 5! The show kind of goes downhill when she goes to college, haha. But overall, it was a wonderful adventure, and I had a good time with Andrew and Jason.

Hopefully there will be bigger adventures before I leave. I'd very much like to have a camp food party/going away party. We will just build a fire in my yard, and probably make foil dinners and doughboys (since I haven't had a doughboy in forever!) Wacky cake will probably also be involved, along with whatever food people bring to cook. So, whenever I figure out what day it is, I will be sure to let you know!

Well, my beloved canon took a poop and died a few weeks ago during a tragic water accident at Country Diner. It was sad, but I found a poloriod online for only 40 dollars, so I went ahead and bought it. Clearly, it won't be as good as my old camera, but it will have to do for now. I'm kind of impatient waiting for it though, because lots of photo worthy things have been happening. I imagine I'll get it next week. Also, it's pink! lol.

Lizzy is studying spelling right now, and one of her words this week is "fierce." That reminds me-I'm pretty disapointed in top model results this season. I didn't catch the entire episode, but I saw enough to see who won.
This is Teyona, who won:

Teyona looks exactly like 75 percent of all the other girls on top model. She's boring. And this is Allison, who was second place. She totally should have won:

So, I feel like I should have more to say, but I don't really right now. I'm really hungry, so time for a snack :)

boring beginning to summer

It's been a pretty boring week, but next week will be more exciting. Next week, I get to work twice (yay!), I get to help the Brownies tye-dye t-shirts (I'll be making one for myself hopefully), possibly getting new glasses, and hanging out with my bff Victoria as much as I possibly can before she goes back to Alabama. Tomorrow will be exciting too, since I am possibly going to March of Dimes and then going to this art show thing with my brother and my parents (where hopefully I can find something nice to give Jen for her birthday and my mom for Mother's day).

I'm pretty happy to be home, but I kind of miss being at school and having full control of the tv. I also miss everything I want/have to do being within walking distance.

I am watching What Not To Wear right now, and it's pretty entertaining. The people who go on this show seem to know they wear bad clothes before their friends even put them on the show. I have some nice clothes, but most of the time, I wear pretty bad clothes. It would be fun to go on that show, but I have no idea I'd be able to justify spending 5,000 dollars entirely on clothes. Whenever they buy jeans they are at least 60 dollars, and the most expensive pair of jeans I've ever considered buying was 40 (and I didn't buy them). Also, they focus mostly on buying dress/businessy clothes. What about all the other times? They throw away all your crappy clothes, so what do you wear when you walk the dog?

That's it for now. My life is pretty boring today.

it's never too late

Yay postsecret France!

I'm moving out tomorrow, and I'm pretty excited because that means I'm just that much closer to camp. Only a little over a month left! Prettymuch everything is packed, but I am really a bad packer, and I seem to have a ton of stuff-I took a huge load home today and there's still a huge load left!

Andrew is the proud owner of the first 3 seasons of Sabrina the Teenage Witch on DVD. I watched the first two discs of the first season today, and it was wonderful. Upon returning the dvds to Andrew, he said something equally as wonderful:

"What do Sabrina and I have in common? We both live with a talking cat!"

(
clearly that's funnier when said out loud. Sabrina lives with Salem the talking cat, and we will live with Kat).

Jumping on the bandwagon

So, I'm jumping on the Dan , Andrew , and Kat bandwagon and trying out this blogspot thing. Hooray, right? Right.

Hopefully, via this blog, I will be able to update you all on what is going on during my summer. That is pretty unlikely though, considering my lack of regular internet access at camp. I'll be back at camp again this summer, and I'm super excited. I'm finally old enough to be a unit leader and a lot of my friends will be back, so I'm expecting a good, adventure filled summer.

Currently, I am very bored. Tomorrow is the beginning of exam week, and lucky for me, I have no exams. Unlucky for me, is that most of my friends do. So, after the writing lab lunch tomorrow, I'll be entirely done, with nothing left to do but pack up, go home, and sleep. Yay for being done with junior year!

I don't have much to say for right now, but there will be more updates soon!
